The latest requirements of service continuity in modern Power Supply Systems for traction applications makes the use of on-load operating disconnectors, usually known as Disconnector Switches or Load Break Switches, more and more requested.
The new magnetic blowout system for arc extinguishing, recently introduced by COET in its Load Break Switches, allowed to extend the range of applications of our products in terms of maximum breaking capacity. Our LB line is now suitable to be applied in systems up to 3kV with nominal current up to 8000A. Our LB complies with EN Standards and have a Breaking Capacity up to category IV.
Our Load Break Switches are available in single or two pole executions. Main options are:

• Auxiliary contacts.
• Key and electromechanical interlocks.
• Motor control with emergency manual operation.
